Born in Barcelona in 1984 to a family who travelled a lot and captured all their adventures on film, it was only natural that Shahira would grow a passion for the arts. Graduated from the American University in Cairo with a BA in Sociology, she threw that all away in retaliation to modern day gender expectations and became a photographer. Her biggest inspiration until today is her first boss and food photographer, Sherif Tamim, who more than anything taught her how to love photography (and food). Shahira is currently the owner and only employee at OH SNAP! and you will see her mostly in the nightlife and fashion scene. Loves animals, big engines, nice people and of course, more than anything else, her camera.
